Michael “Mike” Geraci, MA, LCPC
Mike is the Clinical Director and a therapist at Positive Sobriety Institute Chicago. He supervises the clinical team and leads therapy and psychoeducational groups for recovering adult professionals incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Mike previously worked as a behavioral health counselor at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park, Illinois treating adults with substance use disorders and dual diagnosis within the inpatient psychiatric, detox, and PHP/IOP continuums of care. Prior to Little Company of Mary, Mike worked as an outpatient therapist at Chicago Christian Counseling Center in Orland Park and South Holland, Illinois where he provided individual and family counseling to adults, adolescents, and children treating a broad range of behavioral conditions including depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, family problems, ADHD, bipolar, OCD, ODD, and trauma.

Mike studied clinical psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois with a concentration in organizational leadership. He earned his Bachelors of Science from Illinois College Liberal Arts in Jacksonville, Illinois where he was also a member of the Psi Chi Honor Society. Mike also enjoys incorporating 12 step, humanistic/existential, and mindfulness modalities into his clinical work.
