At PSI we don’t treat addicts—we treat people

Each person who comes to PSI’s drug rehab center in Chicago for an evaluation or treatment is a unique and complex “being” deserving of our unconditional respect, objectivity, focus, effort and professionalism. This is the cornerstone of all we do.

Why we do this?

Addictive disease is primary, chronic, progressive, multifaceted brain disorder. The increasing prevalence of this disease is predictive of the unprecedented rise in mortality, most recently from the misuse and abuse of prescription opioids. Simply put, the addictive disease destroys individuals, families, and careers.

For this reason, Positive Sobriety Institute was conceived to help highly motivated professionals rebuild their lives and careers. Additionally, our affiliation and collaboration with the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University demand rigorous adherence to the integration of Evidenced Based Medicine in every aspect of our program.

Our multidisciplinary team of board-certified physicians and licensed clinicians in Chicago are all experts in their chosen disciplines. As a result, PSI provides a full continuum of care, including intensive outpatient treatment, partial hospitalization, individualized outpatient treatment and continuing care. Life-long recovery is the standard of excellence we pursue everyday, with every patient.
