Positive Sobriety Institute’s Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides an intensive, structured treatment experience for individuals who require more services than those generally available in traditional outpatient settings. Our PHP provides ancillary medical and psychiatric services for individuals leaving hospital or residential settings for addiction disorders and who may still be at a high risk of relapsing. The goal of our PHP is to prepare recovering individuals for transition to less intensive outpatient services and to provide relapse prevention skills for long-term sobriety.
Interdisciplinary Treatment Model for Positive Sobriety Institute
The intense structure of Positive Sobriety Institute’s PHP program gives the recovering individual multiple experiences through group, life skills training, addiction education, and individual therapy to create the foundation for his or her life in recovery. Positive Sobriety Institute offers a safe and structured environment while enabling the individual to return home at night and maintain important family relationships.
Interdisciplinary Treatment Model
Each individual participating in Positive Sobriety Institute’s PHP works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary treatment team that includes a licensed psychiatrist, registered nurse, social worker or counselor who provide addiction treatment services. Patients in PHP are engaged in a variety of group therapy topics which may include:

- Relapse prevention
- Medication education
- Conflict resolution
- Depression management

Each PHP treatment plan is customized to the client’s needs and can be adjusted depending on the client’s progress.
